Fall Bible Study with Rev. Larry: Study of Psalms
Rev. Larry Young will be leading a six-week Zoom study on the Hebrew Scriptures Psalms beginning Wednesday October 4. Duplicate sessions will be offered on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Thursdays at 2 p.m. This study, like the previous one on Matthew, will be based on Yale Bible Study curriculum, and will feature a video in each session by Yale faculty with a study guide sent in advance. There will be no charge for the class. The Psalms evolved as the worship book for the ancient Jewish people, and it covers a whole range of human situations
as individuals and worshipping communities sought to address God. Today it can still provide words for our own prayer and worship life.
