United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world such has Hanhane Women’s Shelter in Mozambique.

The Wednesday work party meets weekly for fellowship, lunch, and crafting. They work year-round to prepare for their annual their annual Holiday Bazaar which benefits mission projects and is their principal fundraiser. The Bazaar is a festive way to jump-start your holiday shopping with handmade goods, casseroles, fudge, baked goods, attic treasures, a Silent Auction and more!  It is usually held mid-late fall.  To find out when the next Bazaar is check out the Church Newsletter or call the church office (310) 393-8258.
