The organized unit of United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world such has Hanhane Women’s Shelter in Mozambique.

The Wednesday work party meets weekly for fellowship, lunch, and crafting. They meet 10 months of the year and sell their crafts after worship which benefits mission projects and is their principal fundraiser.  They also have special fundraisers such as Game Day and Theatre Party.
