For the fall, we are going to use a program called:

Mosaic of Faith: We are all part of God’s Story

This comes from the United Women in Faith resources and was written by Ilka Vega. For this month, we reflect and consider Jesus in Mark 8:29 when he asks – Who Do You Say That I Am? This question challenges us to think about who Jesus is and what we know about God’s character, as well as explore our own faith, identity, and calling. Our journeys, traditions, backgrounds, and where we are in life are different, yet we are invited to listen, to share from our hearts, and to journey together with one another.

UMW Name Change!
Have UNITED METHODIST WOMEN changed ?
No – But the United Methodist Women have a new name:
UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH.

The organized unit of United Women in Faith is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world such has Hanhane Women’s Shelter in Mozambique.
