UMW Name Change!
Have UNITED METHODIST WOMEN changed ?
No – But the United Methodist Women have a new name:
UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH.

The organized unit of United Women in Faith is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world such has Hanhane Women’s Shelter in Mozambique. The Open Table

Led by Ben and Karen Ing, this group consists of those already working in their careers, young families and not-so-young families. The group meets at members’ homes each Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and discussion of current events. Open Table also plans social outings throughout the year, including seeing plays together, trips to Disneyland and the Santa Monica Pier.

Shareringers

The Shareringers is a group of mostly retired, but active people. Currently, we meet monthly via Zoom. We alternate religious programs with travel, book sharing, and topics-of-current interest programs. We are a caring, sharing group and welcome new members!
