Spiritual Gifts with Bill Buxton

Ephesians 4:11-13 describes spiritual gifts as, “The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.”

God creates us all in special, unique ways (none of the two of us are alike), and calls us to join the work of building God’s Kingdom in the here and now. We will be gathering after worship to learn more about these gifts and will work on a reflection to help each of us to discern our individual gifts. This can be a life-changing experience as the Spirit helps us see ways we can contribute to God’s work in our communities and in the world. I hope you can join us!
